Hacking WEP with Kismac

This video shows how to crack a wireless (WEP protected) network with Kismac, although it shows a router which is insecure against a Newsham attack (which takes less than 2 mins) all WEP keys including 128-bit are easy to crack its just a matter of time as i have cracked many 128-bit networks but it can take around an hour to collect enough packets (500000), other than time the attacks are almost identical. I have produced this video to show people how insecure WEP is and to encourage people to move to WPA/WPA2, not to show hackers how to attack networks (that is why i have left out any information on the types of wifi cards you need to perform this attack). Keep watching as i will be producing a video soon which shows the insecurities of the WPA and WPA2 encryption, well not the encryption itself but the problem of people using weak keys such as peoples name or places or even any word out of a dictionary.
